Case overview
The owner of Exell Finition Inc. reached out to us to create his first website. Although his needs were simple, all the text had to be written from scratch. We also needed to set up Google tools and create and configure email addresses.
The project was for a French-only website, with a contact form, the creation of a Facebook account, and the inclusion of technical data sheets for products used in his caulking services.
We developed a mobile version at a time when we were using a CMS other than WordPress. Later, we transitioned to WordPress for greater flexibility. Our responsibilities also included both organic and structural SEO.
Additionally, we were tasked with creating an Excel-based invoicing system for his business use.


How it all began...
The owner of Exell Finition Inc. contacted us to establish a web presence by creating a website that would meet his business needs.
He wanted a French-only website with a mobile-friendly interface. He also required graphic design services, including a logo, favicon, and image formatting, as well as content writing.
Additionally, he requested organic and structural SEO to improve the site’s search engine visibility.
As part of the project, we needed to create PDF files for his products and a contract form using Excel.
We also set up a Facebook account for him to manage independently.

Our Approach
We implemented a systematic and organized approach by establishing a clear series of steps before beginning the project.
In Phase 1, we focused on gathering some relevant text content and completed the redaction, importing and reformatting images, adjusting the website structure, and starting the integration process.
In Phase 2, our tasks included creating email accounts, adding and configuring Google tools, implementing both organic and structural SEO strategies, and collecting analytics data.
In Phase 3, we optimized both organic and structural SEO. Additionally, we prepared product PDF files and created the contract sheet in Excel format.
In Phase 4, we set up the client’s business Facebook account and provided basic training on how to use it. We also finalized the website’s contact form.



The Results
The results were impressive. Within a few weeks, the website appeared on the first page of Google search results for various industry-specific keywords, as well as when targeting specific cities around the Montreal area.
The client could easily create job proposals for his customers and secured numerous contracts, achieving the business growth he had been seeking.
His GTmetrix report was outstanding, with an A grade, a performance score of 98%, and a structure score of 99%. The website offered fast response times when navigating through different pages.
